It’s National Apprenticeship Week!
Entering our 24th year in business, we have seen apprentices progress and flourish into skilled trade and managerial roles, many of our original apprentices are still with us today! As a company we strongly believe in giving young people opportunities and we love seeing them develop and succeed.
Apprenticeships bond the gap between education and employment and provide instrumental skills, experiences, and opportunities for young people across a multitude of industries.
We caught up with one of our Year 2 Electrical apprentices Jack, take a look below at what he had to say about his apprenticeship with FPM so far.
“I am very much enjoying my apprenticeship with FPM and am extremely grateful for the opportunity I have been given.
“My favourite part of my electrical apprenticeship is doing containment like dado trunking. It is interesting working across a range of different customer sites and using different tools and equipment to carry out a variety of different tasks.”
“I can’t wait to become qualified so I can do more on my own.”
We are extremely proud of all of our apprentices and look forward to seeing them progress further with FPM.
