It’s National Apprenticeship Week!
Entering our 23rd year in business, we have seen apprentices progress and flourish into skilled trade and managerial roles, many of our original apprentices are still with us today! As a company we strongly believe in giving young people opportunities and we love seeing them develop and succeed.
Apprenticeships bond the gap between education and employment and provide instrumental skills, experiences, and opportunities for young people across a multitude of industries.
We caught up with one of our Year 1 Electrical apprentices Jamie, take a look below at what he had to say about his apprenticeship with FPM so far.
“I am really enjoying the apprenticeship so far, there is so much variety and things to learn. The installation work I have experienced is really interesting and I am learning new things every day.
I enjoy pulling in big cables and learning how to terminate different types of cables. Also being part of a team and all working together to complete a project is very fulfilling.
I’m looking forward to expanding my knowledge as my apprenticeship progresses.”
We are extremely proud of all of our apprentices and look forward to seeing them progress further with FPM.
